Remembering Ronnie
Ronnie Drew was a founding member of The Dubliners, leaders in a folk revival that would bring them to massive audiences world wide. Remembering Ronnie is an affectionate tribute by his son Phelim celebrating the one of Irelands best loved performers.

Free to participate, however bicycles must be pre-booked. Contact Patrick Kavanagh Centre for details.
Bicycles and Period Dress (1920’s / 30’s / 40’s) encouraged but not essential.
Storytelling, dancing, music and a leisurely stroll through Patrick Kavanagh’s Inniskeen with locals giving a tasty flavour of Kavanagh Country!
5pm Assemble at the school carpark, Inniskeen
6pm Mystery tour visiting notable local Ceili houses
10pm Return to Inniskeen village

Tall Tales on Kavanaghs Trail (Free event, everyone welcome).
‘The bicycles go by in twos and threes’
Storytelling, dancing, music and a leisurely stroll through Patrick Kavanaghs Inniskeen with locals giving a tasty flavour of Kavanagh Country!
Bicycles and Period Dress (1920’s / 30’s / 40’s) encouraged but not essential. The trail shall feature storytelling, music, dance and general divilment!
11.30 – Registration at Round Tower Church, Inniskeen
Midday – Kavanagh Trail by Bus
- The Mullagh Hall
History and re-enactment of events leading up to the opening of the hall. - Billy Brennans Barn
Stories, Poems, re-enactments from a selection of Kavanagh’s works, music and songs.
Returning to the village via Boroughgroom, Kednaminsha and Mucker for refreshments in the Round Tower church. - Storytelling @ The Round Tower Church
From 4-6pm with tellers coming from far and wide and local to entertain you. Special guest storyteller.
From 6pm BBQ, music from ‘Shake a Leg’ and dancing at Inniskeen Community Centre.
