Laneside Haven

Laneside Haven is a Fáilte Ireland approved Self Catering accommodation on our small family farm in the heart of the Monaghan drumlins, close to Castleblayney town. It is situated near the disused Great Northern Railway line (G.N.R) which ran from Dundalk to Enniskillen which was made famous by local country legend Big Tom McBride with his composition of “G.N.R Steam Train”. Our 4 bedroom accommodation with a fitness suite has been recently refurbished. The upgrade work included the installation of an Air to Water under-floor heating system – No need to light a fire! and triple glazed windows. The building has been tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard with a mix of paintings and modern canvas art, and Carrickmacross lace items handmade by the owner. It is available to be used exclusively for short-term rental. Guests are permitted free access to our private fitness/games suite on the property making their stay conductive to a wellness break! For guests' convenience the accommodation is fitted with an electric vehicle charging - no need for "range anxiety", charge your vehicle onsite overnight, giving you more free time for tomorrow's adventures in lovely Monaghan.
