Rossmore Family Cycle Trail

The Rossmore Family Cycle Trail is a 2.7km off-road cycle trail found within the surrounds of Rossmore Forest Park, offering a safe and relaxed environment for families and children to enjoy cycling at their own pace in a nature-based setting. The trail can be commenced from the main visitor arrival/car park area within the park by following the orange waymarking signage found on-site. The family cycle trail and Rossmore Forest Park also link with the Ulster Canal Greenway, a 4.2km urban walking/cycle track, that connects into Monaghan town. Picnic areas, car park facilities, on-site coffee and refreshments dock, and children’s playpark are also available within the park. Admission is free and opening times are daylight hours.
