Self-guide your way around all that Monaghan has to offer with this easy to use app. Here you will find individual tours of the region and several itineraries to choose from, catering for families, the culturally curious, foodies and more. There is something for everyone to explore throughout Monaghan.

The App will also provide you with lots of local information in the bespoke travel guide that features activities to get involved in, events to attend, attractions to visit, accommodation, local food and drinks and even where to do a spot of shopping. The map also allows you to discover where you are and shows the locations of the individual tour points, itineraries and the travel guide listings.

One Village, Two Voices Glaslough Heritage Trail App

The One Village, Two Voices Glaslough Village Heritage Trail is a self-guided app tour of the historical village of Glaslough. Take a walk through Glaslough village and hear the stories of the Leslie family and the village community and the way the two have been closely linked for over 350 years.

Starting beside the Famine Monument and finishing at Saint Salvator’s Church, the trail follows a route of two kilometres around the village and into the Castle Leslie Estate. This easy to follow trail through the village is part of Ireland’s Ancient East, a network of stories in the landscape stretching back 5,000 years. The App is available to download for free.

Rossmore Forest Park App

Download the Rossmore Forest Park App, a newly developed visitor guide for the park. Experiences include; Nature Trail, Lakes Trail, Castle Trail and Family Cycle Trail (opening Spring 2022). Each route consists of a mapped guide, audio, quiz, history and much more. It blends a detailed description of the trail routes, along with various points of historical interest and significance.

Use the App to explore all the locations at home or while on your travels, choosing your favourites and marking them off as you visit them. We hope you enjoy discovering Rossmore Forest Park!
