Carrick Kitchen Fest
Carrick Kitchen Fest, a new food festival for Carrickmacross organised by Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Saturday, 18th July 2026 in the Market Square in Carrickmacross town centre. The festival will focus on food in Carrickmacross, and will include stalls from local cafés, eateries and producers. Carrick Kitchen Fest specials will be available throughout the day on menus in cafés and restaurants around the town, as well as a special afternoon tea experience in The Shirley Arms hotel. There will be plenty to keep all ages engaged including musical entertainment, a Gingerbread Workshop for kids hosted by Carrickmacross Toy Library, and a bread making competition for bakers young and old, experienced and novice, with prizes given on the day.
