Cavan & Monaghan Science Festival

Cavan Monaghan Science Festival is back for 2024!  This will be our 9^th year bringing a variety of STEM to the region.

We have some really interesting events lined up for next week.  Below is  a flavour of what’s happening around County Monaghan.

Saturday 9^th: Sustainable Gardening – A one day course with Aoife Munn in Castleblayney Library 10am – 4pm)

Sunday 10^th : Skin Deep: The Science of Skincare with Jennifer Rock (Shirley Arms Hotel @ 7pm)

Monday 11^th: An Engineer’s guide to the Peace Campus @ 11:30am

Performance nutrition in Kilmore Community Hub in association with Scotstown GAA @ 7pm

Tuesday 12^th: Homes Reimaged:  Sustainable & Passive Houses with Dr. Barry McCarron & Energyteam.ie

Wednesday 13^th: Drumlin Wind Farm  (Newbliss) Talk & tour with Energia renewables @ 10am

A 3D Journey through Space, Market House, 6:30pm

Friday 15th: Educational Psychology: Teaching reading to children with Down Syndrome.  Online

Sunday 17^th: Regeneration for Humans: Reconnecting with Nature in Ballybay Wetlands
