Museum’s 50th Birthday Party!

🥳We are delighted to invite you to the Museums 50th Anniversary celebratory event on Saturday the 21st of September from 10am to 5pm.🥳
The date was specifically chosen to coincide with World Peace Day, and festivities will extend throughout the multi-use Peace Campus.
You can expect a fun filled day out for all the family. The event is free and open to all!
Some of the wonderful activities on the day include;
• Get your hands dirty at the archaeological ‘Big Dig’ 👋
• Sit in a Spitfire plane and dress up as a World War II RAF pilot 🕴
• Try your hand at printing, clay moulding, glit edging or maybe just relax in the sensory zone 🧸
• A birthday party wouldn’t be complete without cake, and some very special guests will be coming along to help blow out the candles;
• Music from local musicians playing throughout the day 🎶
